You can start and continue your course using a mix of devices and we’ll keep track of your progress!

What is a "Broker License" and what can I do with it?
In California, there are two types of Licenses; Retail (sells to the public) or Wholesale (sells to other dealers, only).

There is no such thing as a “Broker License”.

Retail dealers can obtain a “Broker Endorsement” that allows them to sell vehicles they currently don’t have in their inventory. For example, they would contact other dealers on behalf of a consumer looking for a specific vehicle.

Note:  At one time Wholesale Dealers could obtain a Broker Endorsement. This is no longer allowed by the DMV and new Legislation is pending.

How long does it take to finish the DMV LICENSE RENEWAL course?

Experienced Dealers that keep up to date on the latest “rules” often complete the training in less than an hour.

How long does it take to finish the NEW DEALER course?
The DMV requires New Dealer training to take place in person, in a classroom environment, lasting 6 hours.
Can I get help while I'm learning?
