Manheim operates 127 traditional in-person and mobile auctions, serving dealers and commercial clients, processing around 8 million used vehicle sales annually. Manheim sales attract more than 100,000 attendees weekly, generating $75 billion in transactions yearly.

AuctionAccess provides a centralized platform for dealers to validate their licenses and credentials.

To get into Manheim auto auctions, you must first register with AuctionACCESS, which is limited to licensed dealers and their authorized representatives.

AuctionAccess Membership Cost

$103 USD per individual per year. When you join AuctionACCESS, you also gain entry to more than 320 auctions, including Manheim, Adesa, and more.” under auction access membership cost because that’s where you pay it to gain access to the auctions.

• Mobile Auctions: Mobile auction locations provide full auction services without a permanent facility.
• Manheim Express: Allows dealers to easily list and sell inventory directly from their location, simplifying inventory management and sales.
• Private Stores: Approved dealers can access exclusive, single-seller wholesale vehicles hosted by vehicle manufacturers and rental companies.

The Manheim Auction App simplifies your auction experience with features like digital run lists, VIN scanning, and valuation tools. You can also receive personalized recommendations, push notifications, and access to national Simulcast with video and audio. Registered Manheim customers can download it from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Manheim Express App

Sell inventory quickly and easily with Manheim Express. List online in minutes and tap into Manheim Marketplace’s extensive network of buyers. The Manheim Express app lets you scan VINs to view vehicle valuations and history, search inventory, and list vehicles for sale in minutes. You can download it from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Manheim Lot Vision

Manheim Lot Vision provides a detailed map of the facility, helping you easily locate the vehicles you purchased. You can access this feature through the Manheim mobile app or via Manheim.com or when checking your purchases,

Vehicle Condition Reports (CR)

Manheim’s Vehicle Condition Reports provide a reliable and thorough assessment of a vehicle’s current state using a standardized 0 to 5 rating system. These reports cover crucial details such as exterior and interior condition, mechanical performance, and any existing damage or repairs supported by advanced imaging. This level of transparency allows buyers to confidently purchase vehicles online without the need to see them in person and know exactly what to expect when they are delivered. 

DealShield 360 Guarantee

Many vehicles qualify for DealShield, a 21-day or 500-mile guarantee allowing dealers to return a vehicle for a full refund (including auction fees) if they are unsatisfied. DealShield reduces the risk and provides peace of mind for dealers when buying online.

Reconditioning

Manheim offers in-house reconditioning services, including auto body repair, paint, and detailing, all within the auction facility. This service provides buyers and sellers with a convenient solution to get their vehicles ready without the hassle of extra transportation to another site.

Post-Sale Inspection (PSI)

Manheim’s Post-Sale Inspection (PSI) thoroughly checks key components like the engine, transmission, and frame integrity after purchase. This service helps uncover needed repairs and guarantees the vehicle meets your expectations before it leaves the auction.

Arbitration

Manheim Arbitration is a process for resolving disputes when a buyer makes a claim that a vehicle was misrepresented or had undisclosed issues. Manheim acts as a neutral party to assess the claim and determine a fair resolution, helping maintain trust in the marketplace.

Manheim Market Report (MMR)

The Manheim Market Report (MMR) provides dealers with real-time data on used car prices, using values based on actual sales rather than estimates. Powered by M Logic AI, the MMR offers accurate pricing by considering several factors, including mileage, vehicle condition, geographic location, color, and market trends. Dealers can access this tool on the Manheim website.

What is “ADJ MMR”?: It is the adjusted price for a specific vehicle, accounting for factors like mileage, color, and location.

Used Vehicle Value Index

Based on millions of transactions, the Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index provides dealers with an accurate measure of pricing trends and car values in the wholesale used vehicle market. It serves as a reliable benchmark for understanding market conditions, helping dealers gauge the current value of their inventory.
